People are surrounded by sound all over the place wherever they go. Admittedly all the sounds may not be pleasing to the ears and can occasionally be quite annoying. Nevertheless, given a choice, most people will generally avoid noise and opt for the comforting sounds of nature or music to help them de-stress.

Most people feel invigorated when they listen to sounds like ocean waves or wind chimes, while others are jarring, such as the traffic jam or the neighbor’s new guitar hobby. But can sounds heal people? Well, it is based on the perceptive that the human body wants to be strong and has a higher chance of healing from illness when the body with tissue, muscles, bones, organs, glands, and cells are calm and peaceful. Sound healing is a method that uses vibrations such as Tibetan singing bowls, vocal or instrumental-like gongs, crystal quartz bowls, tuning forks, Ting-shas, and Khosi bells to help relax the mind and body. Sound healing is basically about sound vibrations and is often referred to as vibrational medicine because of how these instruments are played, creating sound vibrations around the body of a person, patient, or client. Some proponents also believe it can relieve specific ailments, including nervousness and insomnia.
